UFPA is the largest university in the northern region of Brazil and the most prominent academic institution in the Amazon Rainforest. It excels in teaching, with mostly highly qualified PhD professors engaged in research to promote Amazonian social development and the well-being of its populations. My anthropology program is unique, offering a four-field approach that includes archaeology, biological anthropology, linguistics, and social anthropology, making it the only postgraduate program of its kind in the northern region.
