As an engineering student, I wish the course were better. Some subjects have excellent professors, but suddenly it changes to one, then another, and you get confused by each professor’s teaching method.
Also, they don’t value distance learning students. The service is poor; I try to talk about events on that platform that brings people together online to watch a lecture, and they see the message but don’t respond.
The rule for AAC (Academic Complementary Activities) is terrible, since only 40 hours can be done off-campus; the rest has to be at Estácio itself. But my campus doesn’t consider distance learning students and doesn’t even accept donations like larger campuses do.
On exam day, they don’t give the students proper guidance.
Also, what they teach in the review sessions isn’t necessarily what’s on the actual exam.
In short, there’s a lot of room for improvement. The campus location has a good concept, but it’s terrible to get there and find public and private transportation; there’s practically nothing around. It’s a huge building, but the air conditioning and lights are off.
