My time at IUB has been a mix of both challenges and great memories. The program gave me the chance to learn from inspiring professors and work with classmates who
pushed me to grow. There were times when balancing coursework and personal life felt difficult, but those moments taught me resilience and time management. Overall, IUB helped me become more confident, skilled, and ready for the next step in my journey
Initially, the quality of education was high. Good students created healthy competition for better grades; the balance between study & fun times was ideal. Then, COVID hit and the dive initiated itself. Exams and assignments were barely monitored for unethical methods of completion. The majority of the capable teachers left the institute for better opportunities. The teachers hired to replace them were just not up to the mark. The management tried to uplift the quality, but it was not successful. Overall, the university provided opportunities, but for most students, they did not get the proper guidance that they deserve. Highly self-motivated individuals were not affected.
View moreUniversity is a place we enter to learn and then serve the community having a decent career. Obviously they courses we took did offer a lot of insights regarding business, global trade and impacts of geopolitics on it. We have learned how industries work, how different cultures impact businesses in different ways as a student of marketing and HR.
But on the flip side, the environment of the university can also affect your productivity, I will not rate the environment in a positive way, as the libraries were not as quiet as it should be, the intermingling of male and females on campus were inappropriate, smoking weed although prohibited were quite tolerated in toilets. And the authority were not very responsive to student needs.
I think despite the university has provided us with faculties who helped us equip ourselves with information and insights, there are indeed a lot of rooms for improvement. Thank you.
I completed my Master’s of Business Administration at Independent University Bangladesh. One thing that really stood out was how helpful all the staff were in the program. It was great not having to wait around for things; they always made sure any issues I had were taken care of quickly. Plus, the campus itself was a really positive and well-kept environment.

What I like most about IUB :
Academic Reputation, Extracurricular activities, and cultural diversity.
One thing I disliked: Less outdoor activity facilities on campus.
Overall, my university gave me so much knowledge and vision to change the world, so I am always grateful.
I definitely want to recommend my university to students who want to achieve their dream courses with whole hearted cultural diversity .
