I am French. York has welcomed me with an open bosom and let me into their life. From day one I decided that England was my new home. My course, English Literature, is thoroughly very good, and although there aren’t many lectures on my course, the ones that there are, are packed with information. The course is very independently led, and the library is a good resource for me to read in.
The accommodation is perfect for me to sing in, and the Women’s football team provides me with something to do because I am tee-total. I was disappointed at the cost of the Horseriding club, but I guess this just can’t be helped. I cook my own meals, because I am a vegetarian and there are lots of local shops that provide for my needs.
Despite the cost of Horseriding club, ultimately I would recommend the University of York to anybody from France.
