Well, If I were to choose again for the university I’ d study, I wouldn’t applied to AUTH. Several reasons force me not to do again this mistake! The majority of the professors are very old and not so prepared to make a good and attractive lecture! Also they stopped to publish new articles/papers (as long as to know some news about the breakthrough inventions of their field of interest) when they achieved the “full professor” position of their department (unfortunately according to the greek law system nobody can move or quit full professors). Finally, due to the Greek economical crisis, there are many ellipses of teachers and researchers in AUTH and the Greek government doesn’t hire when sbd grand a pension.
