Is Manhattan Institute of Management Acredited?

31/10/2018

Manhattan Institute of Management, or MIM, is a business school located in the financial capital of the world – New York City, and more specifically, downtown Manhattan. Today, EDUopinions answers the question; is the Manhattan Institute of Management accredited?

EDUopinions is an online platform that collects opinions from students about the universities where they have studied or are studying now. We also provide helpful content for students in our articles.

So, is MIM Accredited?

The short answer to our question ‘is MIM accredited?’ is yes! Specifically, the institution is licensed by the State of New York Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision, or BPSS. This body can be found in Albany in upstate New York, and is a part of the New York State Education Department.

In their own words, BPSS ‘oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York State.’ They work to ensure appropriate levels of education are met which allow students to secure successful employment after their studies. They also work to make sure students are treated fairly while studying.

About MIM

Since its founding in 1984 MIM has been offering flexible study options, small class sizes, and programmes varying in duration from 3, 6, and 9 months. MIM students may study programmes such as: the Diploma in International Business Administration, International Business Studies, and Business Administration.

On an international level, MIM maintains relationships with 16 partner universities across the globe.
