Everybody has their own way to study that has that has been proven to be the right one for success for them, but we have made a short list of study tools that we think should be essential for any student.

Based on many criteria and the purpose of the tools, we have put together a list of 5 essential tools you need to study. It is a combination of technology, a laptop, and online platforms like how to study, quizlet, evernote and marinara time.

Laptop

Well, one of the most important tools for students is, of course, a laptop. Everything related to student life is in connection with technology. From writing papers, emails or taking notes at different classes, the laptop is one of the most important assets you have. Make sure you have all the software you need to study and check out the ones that are provided by your University. They offer global autocorrect, which is very useful for grammar and spell checks for anything you use your laptop for.

Evernote

Evernote may be one of the most online helpful study tools there is because it allows you to synchronize all the information you have on different gadgets like computers, tablets or smartphones.

Also, you can share the information with other users. The motto is very inspiring “Get organized. Work smarter. Remember everything.” inspires you to do just that. Simple and efficient are the words to describe this study tool – perfect for organising a chaotic study schedule!

How To Study

How to study is one site that includes a lot of material for getting ready on how to prepare and set goals, how to take in all the information (this includes time management, procrastination, note taking and stress management), memory improvement exercises and how to handle anxiety and tests.

They have different strategies for every subject you need. This site is definitely a good tool for students, especially the freshmen when everything is new and there is a lot to take in.

Quizlet

Quizlet provides simple online tools for studying that are organized in categories like quizzes, flashcards, practice tests, matching games and interactive audio tools. This is a great study tool if you are not the kind to walk around with actual flash cards.

The site provides you with the option to create and share your own personal cards or you can use the pre-made cards from the site’s database. They have a wide range of subjects and also you can collaborate with other students.

Marinara Timer

Last but not least, Marinara Timer is an online study tool that has the main goal, to improve productivity. It is based on the Pomodoro method of productivity, where you work in segments of 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute break.

After 4 periods of time, you have a 15 minutes break and the timer helps you to manage this to make your study time as productive as possible.
