What’s It Really Like To Be An AEGEEan?

29/10/2018

EDUopinions – Real Student Reviews introduces you to the winner of our raffle – a trip worth €300 – that took place recently at the AEGEE Agora in Istanbul.

Meet the Winner of the Prize, Amalia!

Hi guys! My name is Amalia, I am from Romania, and I am a member of AEGEE Cluj-Napoca.

In the following short text, I will try to explain my feelings and thoughts about AEGEE

Before I decided to join this student association, I had no idea how many great things I would learn and how much I would love this community! I am an AEGEE member since April last year and I enjoyed at maximum all the experiences so far.

For me, joining AEGEE was the best decision I have made during university, and my biggest regret regarding my student life is that I found out about AEGEE only in my senior year and not as a freshman, but it is never too late, right?

The Positive Impact AEGEE Had On Me

Being part of this huge family and seeing other people learning and having so much fun together made me step out from my comfort zone, made me develop skills while travelling, learning about new cultures while experiencing different environments, nationalities and stories, made me improve my English skills and I could go on and on about how much of a positive impact AEGEE has had on me.

I think the most important thing is that I gained self-confidence and friends for a lifetime during the Summer University and the Autumn Agora Istanbul, both in which I have participated.

For all the perks listed above and more, I encourage every willing student to join AEGEE.

Live the Experience of Your Life

Get to know what the AEGEE spirit means, learn a bunch of new things and also have fun like you never had before while attending the best parties. I promise that you will not regret it! See you somewhere in Europe!

Hugs and kisses,

Amalia
