Ulster University is teaching me more about practical life learning and skill. I am able to make new international friends here. The world class lecturers are teaching me new interesting topic and real life lessons and these are helpful for me in job market. The club facilities are also giving me the opportunities to develop my skills. I don’t prefer one thing and that is the campus size compared to current number of students. I prefer a little bit extension of the campus so that the University doesn’t become so crowded. To conclude, I want everyone to take the opportunities from Ulster University and become successful in their career.
View moreThis university is just wonderful. They put together an excellent team and the most realistic, student-centred education I’ve ever experienced. The professors are all exceptional educators who are very talented, inspirational, and gifted. I couldn’t have asked for a finer group of professors. The campus is well-equipped, including coffee shops and a restaurant. My experience at Ulster University was enjoyable. The contemporary campus has its own distinct look and offers a fantastic experience.
View moreThis university is well-run and has excellent physical facilities, but it is severely missing a university on-campus counsellor, especially given the high prevalence of mental health disorders in the fine arts department and across the board. The university is making an attempt with its mind your mood programme for mental health, but offering six free counselling sessions with an off-campus institution is simply not enough. It makes it more difficult for students, especially those who are new to the city, to call out for help when they need it. For want of a better description, I find the general atmosphere at the university to be extremely “non-community.” Students prefer to isolate themselves and there is a lack of a social climate, all of which are potential contributing factors.
View moreI studied in the Coleraine campus and it was perfect. The facilities in this campus are outstanding, all the rooms are new and totally equipped so that makes e
it easier to learn there.
Also the professors are very friendly and are always available to help you, even more if you are a foreigner, so that’s perfect for all the people who are used to study in english and maybe is more difficult to get everything in every lesson.
The university structure based on modules is also nice, because it makes it easier to organize yourself and to decide which ones to choose and the times. The quality of them for me was pretty good, so I could learn a lot during my time there.
The university also has a lot of sports possibilities which you can choose during the year with a low fare. The gym is also new and a lot of students normally go there.
Other facts that make your experience there pretty nice is an agreement between the university and one association called “international friends”. The members of this association are local families who want to show you the local culture, so they take you to different places to visit, having lunchs with them or preparing different activities such a local dancing performances there.
For me Ulster University is a very nice university to study abroad so you can learn a lot and grow personal and professionally.
