I spent a year at the UT, for the first year of my MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
The campus is pretty much huge, “the only american style campus in the Netherlands”, with nice facilities like gym, library with nice desks and computers, and lecture rooms with modern beamers.
The technical courses were in their majority very good, with a nice theoretical foundation and a lot of practical assignments, with not much nonsense memorizing memorizing needing, mostly focusing on you understanding what you are doing. There were a couple of exceptions. The teachers are very helpful and approachable in their majority. The non technical courses, were not so nice in my opinion, being a bit to “vague” and leaving you with a taste of “this is just common sense”.
The environment at the university is nice, with fellow students being approachable a lot of internationals, and a few events happening almost every day, inviting for a balanced social life.
Recommended.
