An overview of the Nova University experience

My decision to learn a new language came from the fact that I will be staying here for another few years. Moving to another country is a huge step, you must build up your confidence from scratch. Students from abroad should definitely consider this university, as it is ranked 14th among young European universities. I have taken a short course on Portuguese language learning, as my main bachelor’s course is in Portuguese. I am quite pleased with my teacher, he is a fun-loving man who makes class enjoyable. Just in this short course, there are many students from different parts of the world, and there are even more in the degree program. In addition to the pros, there are also cons: some bachelor’s degree courses are in Portuguese, and they are working on making it easier and more convenient for international students. I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed in their communication but that’s temporary. I’m confident that whatever I have and am learning will be valuable to me.
