Some of the courses in my program were pretty interesting. I liked the option to take Africana courses and other extra courses that made the studies much more fun. The teachers were highly professional, great teachers and very helpful. Classes were very well structured and there was little to no stress with how the school administered the program. I would appreciate that the school however improves on the enrollment process into courses as it is not so smooth. Also, I would that the school takes depression as a very high rate effect of studying there and manage it better with the workload and mental health of students in a way that actually causes a change. Student life was fun but mostly only tailored towards circular fun and engagements. Christian activities are almost ignored and restricted which was not a pleasant experience, however, I would definitely recommend the school. The school has lots of international engagements which gives students so much exposure to the outside world and to connect with the best in industries all over. The school also has a wide range of international students present and intermittent visits from foreign friends of the school. It is very international in my opinion. About career prospects, they have a great career services department that makes sure that every student and alum lands a job by assisting in choosing the best careers that suit each individual, hosting mandatory career advisory sessions and yearly career day, and endless emails about the available job, internship and job-shadowing opportunities, constantly engaging students with career tips, internship and job feedback. Ashesi is a great school and the best in Ghana. It is the best school I have been to thus far and anyone aspiring to be here should be ready to take great advantage of the excellence produced and required here on the hill.
