I’d highly recommend University of Copenhagen to a new student looking to study abroad in a highly competent environment. I was enrolled to my MSc program back in 2011 and graduated in 2013 and studied Food Science and Technology with a ‘General’ specialization. I studied in the university’s faculty in Frederiksberg. I found the program very well-organized with a lot of diverse compulsory courses that helped me to develop even more my competences. I enjoyed having a number of different practicals where we put into practice the theory from the lectures. Some of the lectures were really fun and the tutors were highly interactive with the audience. Going and preparing for the exams was completely different to what I was used to from my home country. Most of my exams were oral and the questions were based on the overall curriculum and not specific. I had to prepare a lot though for the exams (as far as I recall). If I had to pinpoint something for improvement that would be the volume of the material we have had to study and go through. There were few courses were the material was unrealistic and the requirements quite high time-wise. All the lecture associates and tutors were very friendly and helpful though.
