This is a great university all-round. The facilities are a little old but the teachers and content is really modern. The campuses are situated in regional areas but the accessibility of their online learning makes it a super flexible option for completing your degree your way.
View moreCSU offers it’s students a wide variety of support services from academic support with free assessment reviewers to career services like their job, internship and scholarship noticeboards. Additionally, the mandatory practical work placement subjects offer students a competitive advantage after graduation and more confidence to enter their chosen workforce.
View moreCSU (in my case, Wagga Wagga campus) is a great regional uni with some solid course choices on campus with even more online. Being in a rural area, it’s definitely more agriculture- and veterinary-based, but arts courses, science courses, etc. are all still supported and offer great options for students. Teachers can vary between courses but I’ve personally had more good ones than bad, which is all you can really ask for, and as well as individual teachers/lecturers, students are also offered easily-accessible tutoring or proofreading services through the uni to back up in-class learning. All in all very inclusive and open to a wide range of students, regardless of learning style.
View moreI am an international student so my whole life has changed after I came to this University. The overall environment is perfect, student life, staff members, and life besides studying there are a plethora of opportunities that are awesome. I became an international student ambassador a few months ago and have been engaged in so many programs which I am absolutely loving it.
View moreI liked the flexibility of the university at the time. I didn’t like the lack of structured care. The school could improve by having a dedicated role to help with choosing study programmes and career objectives.
The school was very internationally orientated I felt often to the detriment of other students as overseas was where the money was coming from.
My career prospects may have been ok but with no help from the university.
Excellent and well designed courses by using up to date information. The online content was superior. The ability to interrelate with other students and the staff was good, despite the real distances between us. Excellent support at Masters level from dedicated and knowledgeable supervisors was very important to my success.
