UMUC remains a special institution close to my heart. It changed my life to the better since the skills I acquired in this great university have enabled me to do so well in the job market. The training in this school is hands on with a touch of career preparation. The professors not only trained us on the theory but also mentored us to comfortably fit in the job market. They were just great. Sports and other social activities are also available in this university and students are free to participate any of their choice to improve on their talents. Students’ accommodation is available for the students who want to live within the Campus.

This school must have new people working here because the tone of their concern for issues within specific departments are lacking and disrespectful. This school has inconsistencies in their grading policy. The grading is unfair and this department in particular refused to address the problem and tries to make the student the issue. I would not recommend this school to anyone!

A High quality educational institution is the first thing that should come to mind when discussing the University of Maryland University College, also known as University of Maryland Global Campus. The University itself was founded 75 years ago and has been an instrumental leader in distance learning for students. The University offers students the chance to earn a bachelors, masters or a doctorate degree in 175 plus programs. This allows for intense study in thei field of choice of the enrolling student. Although, the prospect of distance learning could seem daunting, the University is setup with virtual success coaches who are avaliable at all times to assist with any problem a student could face. All together the University is an amazing place to gain knowledge, regardless of distance learning or on campus.
