This school has all of its programs accredited and up-to-date with its certifications. The value of your degree is just as great as if you went to UF or FSU for less than half the cost. You get the same degree with the same accreditation, with the same education, so I don’t understand why you shouldn’t choose this school. I have had nothing but a great experience the entire time I have been here and I will be graduating in 12 months.
View moreThe University of West Florida is in a great location. It is a tourist attraction for many outside the area. Summers are very active in this area. Downtown Pensacola promotes many activities with arts and theater performances. There are also many times of the year when they close the streets for block parties involving vendors to promote their craft. The new downtown stadium has had a huge impact on the sports arena. Downtown Civic Center always has new attractions in the area; they now also operate ice hockey and ice skating during the winter months.
View moreThe University of West Florida is one of the best schools in Florida. The teachers are informative and understanding. The student body inspires everyone to get involved and have Argo Pride. Many of our programs are in the top 5 in the state. Our robotics team ranked 2nd under MIT. We have classes that range from classroom sized to stadium sized classes. We have had a football team for 3 years. Last year, the football team reached the championships.
View moreI have found that the courses are appropriate for core courses. I went to a high school that prepared me well for college work. I liked the professors. They use teaching assistants, but the classes are small. I also took some classes online. Online learning is more difficult because you can’t interact with professors like you can in class. The registration process here is very good. The office people are helpful and courteous. Much of what is done for registration is done online.
View moreThere is plenty to do for students living on campus as well as everyone else, as all facilities are accessible to everyone. From the free gym to the greenhouse and gardens, from the library to the greenery of the campus, from the commons to the Greek week, there is something for everyone. There are also all kinds of clubs; Some of them also offer job offers and possible additions to your CV. Overall, student life at UWF is quite pleasant.
View moreThe college is just the right size. Lots of beautiful scenery, especially when heading to the trails that wind around the school. I have only seen good things. Academics, the sports community, the campus. I live on campus and everything I’ve experienced so far has been great. I look forward to more things to do and experience now during my stay here. Doing a bit of work and knowing that I’m going to do sports management is a plus.
View moreA friendly and compassionate university that I would recommend people to visit. And considering all things very convenient, but it really depends on each person’s situation. I really like the food options and the campus. The classes are very interactive and the teachers are great.
