at University of York

My experience at York has overall been positive. However, my flatmates steal my milk and neglect to mop the floor. Despite this, they are a sociable bunch and like to watch TV with me, which I like. In regards to the quality of education, I find it good. I study Sociology, and the workload is acceptable. However, sometimes I don’t feel pushed by my tutors to reach my full potential, which can be disappointing. The nightlife is expensive, and shopping would be too if it weren’t for the convenient Aldi that serves all my needs. But York is a pretty city, with lots to do in the day. I would half-heartedly recommend York because Newcastle is better.
