at University of Surrey

Great location, pretty campus. The people are generally nice and it is not crowded. It feels safe in Guildford. They have put in new rest and social spaces which has helped reduce the amount of people in the library. Sometimes lecture rooms can be too hot/stuffy. There are a lack of activities to do outside of uni, the town could do with more development.

My supervisor is very interactive and lots of people are around for support. People around the office are friendly. Hybrid working is in place and flexible. The facilities could be better for PhD students. More social activities could be organised.
