I’m in my last year at Glasgow, the teaching quality is great and the marking is fair. The only thing I think they could improve on is student support, or ensuring students are more connected with their lecturers. The first few years I felt the classes were too big and I wasn’t really sure who to speak to about certain things. You never really get to know a lecturer or councillor. However the last 2 years the classes have been smaller so we did get this opportunity more. It would be nice to have a designated student support staff member who knew you and emailed you etc. because sometimes I have felt I don’t know who to email or speak to. Apart from that it’s been a great experience and every staff member I have come into contact with has been very helpful and always kind.
