The university prides itself for being one of the top universities in the UK for graduate employment. As I am currently enrolled in their BSc Management (Specialisms) programme, I have noticed from the very beginning that the course emphasises the important of networking and employability skills like nothing else. While the academic content of the course is very practical, the extra care towards crafting CVs, practice interviews and psychometric tests.
The first years modules are all mandatory while from second year the students will get to choose their own. For me personally, the biggest advantage is the option to explore being opened up and being allowed to experiments on my likes and dislikes. However, the reason I would give this course a 3/5 stars is the tuition fees paid for this course and a course in science that involves using expensive lab materials costs the same. In my opinion, that is unfair and humanities courses should have a lower price tag since it just involves classrooms and not fancy lab practicals or field trips.
