Learning to change the World

I started this new Sustainable Business Bachelor’s degree a year ago, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how much I’ve learned and will be able to use in the future. For the time being, it has greatly stoked my passion for project management as well as for understanding techniques to use in the business world for long-term sustainability success.

GPCM has a special dynamic that combines academic lessons with practical projects that help students connect with global innovation and sustainable goals. The classroom then develops into a place where people from different cultures share their knowledge and can interact, participate actively, and share values in order to change the world through group projects.

Aside from that, the program is highly international due to the fact that it is taught in English, has many students from abroad, and has a highly regarded international faculty with exceptional expertise in the business and project management sectors, giving students real-world experience and tools for their future careers. As classes are small, interacting with the lecturers is simple and incredibly supportive.

I made friends from all over the world, and Zwolle is a wonderful place for anyone to gradually acclimate to. Meeting people from your year is simple because the curriculum is intensive and small-scaled, and friendships are almost certain to last a lifetime.

Every assignment and learning unit is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Inner Development Goals of the United Nations, which helps students become the changemakers they desire to be. As a result, a portion of the curriculum focuses on personal and professional development, teaching you how to develop the abilities that give your story its own identity.

The campus is fairly large, and you are welcome to utilize any available facility, including coffee shops, the library, study rooms, the media center, cafeterias, the music room, the gym, and so on. Additionally, receiving accommodation for the first year in a student residence 15 minutes from the university was an enormous advantage. Many students benefited from this by not having to worry about housing before moving to Zwolle.

To sum up, the Bachelor’s Programme in Global Project and Change Management at Windesheim University gave me the inspiration, knowledge, and abilities I needed to succeed in the fast-paced field of project management, and I am yet to study for three more years! This program has been a doorway to a personal and professional transformation that will last throughout my life because of its profound integration of theory and practice, renowned faculty, and persistent dedication to a global perspective on sustainability. In the years to come, I’ll also have the opportunity to work on projects with foreign clients while traveling abroad; complete a minor at a partnership university; and finally, accomplish my research internship in a subject that most interest me. Therefore, the years that follow are expected to be just as interesting as this one!
