AWESOME UNIVERSITY AVEARAGE ORGANIZATION

I really like the facilities at fontys university, you can play pool between classes, you have many different coffee machines, low price and starbucks are some examples. In general it has a really nice aesthetic and it is very spacious. I would like to add that there are many bike parkings, which is very important when living in the Netherlands, and they come with a roof so your bike doesn’t get wet when is rainy, which is extremely relevant. There are many open spaces, rest spaces and group rooms to either work, meet people or just be by yourself.
Regarding cafeteria prices, you have a few cheap options that I usually take but there are also more expensive choices if you want a fancier lunch. In Venlo there is a McDonalds near by too, for emergencies 🙂
Organization hasn’t been the best since they had to deal with scheduling very close to the start of lectures, but the teachers are very inmeresed on the subjects and really want to help you and teach you as much as possible.
In a nutshell, I am absolutely enjoying my time in this university and I recommend to everyone to study here

Hi, my name’s Kevin and I’m interested in taking my double degree at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. My current uni is working on a double degree with Fontys and I’m considering taking the opportunity. However, I’d like to ask some things about Fontys University of Applied Sciences if I may firstly, I’d like to ask about part-time jobs there. I heard that obtaining part-time jobs in the Netherlands as an international student can be a bit challenging. How hard (or easy) is it to get a part-time job there in terms of market competition, requirements, and language requirements? On the topic of language requirements, are the education and other support systems there accommodating for English-only speakers? I can’t speak Dutch at all for now, though I’m going to if I were to commit to studying at Fontys. Lastly, I’d like to ask about the academic atmosphere (vibes if you will) at the university. Are the lecturers highly supportive of your academics/research? How stressful are the academic tasks there? And also, how seriously do people take their academic/research progress there? That’s all I’d like to ask for now, I look forward to your response. Thanks in advance 🙂
