There is a wide variance in careers and majors that the university offers mostly in English this is the international prospect that comes to study at this university. However, given that the admission rate is high and the student number is very high individual focus and help are not very evident.

I am studying Mechanical engineering at UT. It is really well-organized course with amazing teachers. All the subjects are connected to each other. The facilities of the university are also up to date. There is nothing old or outdated in the study program or on the campus as a whole.

The BSc Mechanical Engineering at University of Twente has a very high teaching quality and great professors. The student life is also very good with plenty of student associations and a low cost of living.

One of the best universities in the technical aspect, the method of teaching is different than other universities, 50% theoretical and 50% practical
all the knowledge is applied in a project at the final of the module.

University of Twente is the place to go in the Netherlands if you want a great technical education and you’re interested in business start-ups. There are over 2000 start-ups affiliated with the uni, and the university facilitates many start-up related events as well as providing free services to students interested in founding their own start-up. The numerous student associations and sports clubs are also a fantastic way of getting to know other people from different parts of the uni.

I think it is a really good university especially the lectures and explanation of the content that we are taught. Furthermore, I think that the overall atmosphere is very engaging. Ultimately I really like the university.

the school does not show much interest in giving the students advice or help when it comes to mental help. there are programs or places to get help but it is not very visible for the students. but this can change

I like how the courses are engaging and have interactive practicals however I think that the grading system is very bad. The idea of losing all of your ECS for a module if you fail one of the sub-components isn’t nice at all. This is very discouraging and causes a lot of stress.

The university of twente is very challenging the life in enschede is a calm and quiet life with not much to do the. The programs and projects need alot of of effort in the same time personal life need to be watched .

Overall it is a good university but sometimes the English of the teachers is hard to follow. But the subjects are very interesting and broad so it’s definitely not boring. Also the facilities of the university are nice
