Courses, transport, facilities and utilities

I am a student of the building department and I have to say that the course is an interesting one. At first, I was bored but with the practical aspect of it, I was impressed. The first assignment was to pick a building and describe it; there were many buildings on the campus and to do research on anyone sounded tedious but it was a group assignment so I wasn’t bothered much. I was given the role of writing the description and it was fun. I met different people and made some friends too.
The facilities in the school are exceptional; the designs are beautiful and creative, especially the library, with its structure almost at the centre of the school and it is also a point from which you can see anything beyond the school, even the roads outside of it. The computers are efficient, the lockers to keep your baggage and the serenity of the environment. There are two campuses: the Main Campus and the Permanent Site. There are many facilities at each campus but the most alluring is the Permanent Site, PS for short. There are different labs on each campus at disposal for specific levels of a course. The school serves several programs for students like the remedial (pre-degree) courses, and IJMB/Direct entry-level students. As long as your exam score is great, you have a high chance of being admitted to your preferred course, even for postgraduates too.
In the first year of each level, most courses are shared on both campuses so you’d have to attend the most that you can. And there are vehicles to take you there at a small price. Anytime, any day, except Sundays, you will find a cab(s) at specific locations to take you to your destination, if you know where to look and they are not hard to find, they will always be near the school.
There’s the yearly WiFi that the school runs on so no need to purchase data and the connection is really fast. Also, there’s something called TDB, Till Day Break, that students do all kinds of activities in school, including reading, and wi-fi usage for their assignments or tests; it’s a common thing for students who want to spend their night in the school. And definitely, there’s a constant power supply to support them.
Overall, the school is good, even better for those that want to study Medicine, Architecture (said to be the best for this course), and the rest. The competition for these courses is astounding and it could shape your prospects for a career in your course, if you up your game, that is. If they also focused more on the education courses, it would be a greater institution to rival others, which they still do, in fact.
