The National School of Anthropology and History (abbreviated ENAH in Spanish) is an education institution which specializes in social sciences studies, particularly anthropology and history. It is a small educative center located in Mexico City. ENAH is an outstanding center well known for its academic excellence. The postgraduate programmes are currently included in the Registry of Quality Graduate Programs (abbreviated PNPC in Spanish). The programmes have a strong focus on research, students are guided by experienced professors that are actually leading researchers in the field. ENAH is closely linked to the National Institute of Anthropology and History (abbreviated INAH in Spanish) which is a great advantage if you are being trained as an anthropologist or historian. This will enable you to complete internships, gain some real world experience and establish some direct connections.

Today, the country's economic situation and structural changes have complicated certain things. However it is a unique school that offers seven joint disciplines where from the beginning you can learn the branch of anthropology that you like the most: Physical Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Ethnology, Linguistics, Etnohistory, History and Archeology. I study physical anthropology and most of the teachers are very good, with a fairly complete curriculum, the race is very demanding.
