The University of Debrecen- a Nigerian perspective

The University of Debrecen in Hungary stands out in many ways and one of its most outstanding features has to be the type of courses taught in the school. The courses are well planned to build a responsible and successful career in whatever field one finds themselves in, however, for my program, I am faced with little time to cover the amount of work needed. There is a lot of constant pressure from the professors and the school, in general, to cover a lot of these classes in inadequate time.
I do enjoy the approach to teaching and the practicalities of what is learned in class. I find it very easy to transfer what is learnt in school to real-life and industries.
The school’s location is also very serene and perfect for learning. It offers a very friendly and calm environment with tons of activities and places to have fun and engage in multiple recreational activities.
Additionally, as a Nigerian, the community of Nigerians has helped me a lot to settle in and find my way across the city and carry out necessary scholarly activities.
The University of Debrecen would be a great recommendation for international students such as me, especially Nigerians who are looking for quality education at a reasonable price. However, they need to be prepared to let go of whatever laissez-faire attitude towards the school they probably once had, and furnish their academic skills to thrive in this competitive environment.
