I think my university has plenty international studies possibilities to e.g. experience Erasmus in abroad, but because most of the students are not informed well about the possibilities they don’t gain international experience. Although it can be useful after graduation to find a good job. Language knowledge is always a plus and it could give you a better chance to have a better job. (E.g. In the field of law: get a job in an international law office/company) I think our professors are well qualified and provide all the support to help the students to get the best grades. In my opinion my university is a bit lack of the students events, it could be improved with organising more activites and events eg.: football, basketball, handball cup besides our waterpolo team. Organising Tea afternoon, language studiing groups, parties and events could improve the students life at the university. The facilies are okay, but with more IT gadgets and electronic devises the materials of the classes could be improved. I find it peaceful in overall the atmosphere of the university which is my favourite thing to mention in my university. The administrators are nice, kind and helpful and try to help and support the students. The location of my university is perfect, just in the center of Budapest, and have access by public transport. The building and classrooms are new, nice, and big enough. I find it quiet bad that our university dormitory is closed couple years ago, so finding an accomodation for the ‘freshers’ could be a big difficulty. In overall i would say that i really like my university and if i rank it: 4/5 stars.
View moreI started university in 2017. The first year was hard, its all about math, so if somebody comes from a high school which has a weak math education, he/she will have a harder time, but not unsolvable. At the beginning of the university, the teachers are competent, but as we progress in time we can see its flaws. There are teachers who cannot be changed because of their prestige. And after a few years there are 2 things which keep you going, is the time and effort you put into your degree and the community. Because that’s what holds it together and the directors know it and support it. Overall it’s not a bad school it’s a good school with great potential, but it needs some change which will come in the future.
View moreI would recommend this university to anyone. It is a small one, but the professors teach you really good knowledge and they are always there to help you, even in person. A lot of good connections is available, and I you want to learn more, you will be highly supported.
View moreThe main advantage of this university is the great community we have. With only 200 students every year most of the people know each other, and know where they can get help. We exchange our notes, we help others understand the materials. Better, experienced students give extra lessons for groups totally free if they feel they are behind in the course. Besides this, there are many great opportunities, the university has good relations with different laboratories in Budapest, which helps us find ourselves a fitting place for our thesis. And even the university has it’s own amazing labs with amazing scientists, so this is definitely a great place for those who want to do something in research. My only problem is that we study a little from everything, and by this, sometimes I feel like I don’t really know everything. But if you are committed enough here, you will definitely find your calling.
View moreThe Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics is a small faculty, therefore the atmosphere is familial and more like a high school as professors and students know each other very well. The subjects have a strong focus on life sciences and multidisciplinary approaches of information technology. We could learn about the most popular and recent technologies in the fields of biomedical engineering, computer science and information technology. Although the small faculty itself does not have sufficient laboratories and opportunities for practical development, they support individual research in collaboration with other institutes in a big variety of interesting and modern research topics.
View moreIt was a pleasure to study in Piliscsaba, at that Campus you are losing your sense of time, the nature and the architecture easily can give you the break what you need to refresh between to lecture. The teachers are friendly and you can easily establish a personal contact with them, they are really experienced. The lectures are practical but also gives you the needed theoretical part. The university has plenty of connection what you can use for Erasmus (like Iceland) or further work reference as well.
