Just like most universities in Greece, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has some really bad facilities, especially lecture halls, classes and toilets. However, you might find some nice places if they’re not always open for the public (e.g. libraries are actually nice). Professors are highly skilled and knowledgable people in their vast majority but not always interested in students or proper teaching. Therefore, classes sometimes are extremely disorganised and not of any value. The University is in the city centre, which makes it very accessible, and student life in the city is one of the best you can find. However, the campus is a pretty dangerous place in the afternoon and night hours so people need to be careful walking there at those times. Lastly, Aristotle University is considered one of the best universities in the country and holds some prestige, so career prospects are really promising after graduation.
