In my opinion, this university has a lot to work on. The university does not have a campus but instead is divided into faculty buildings throughout the city. The faculty of Electrical Engineering, which I study in, is located in the center of the city which makes travel easy and everything the city has to offer is easily accessible to students.
The courses are very focused on theoretical knowledge and practical application (laboratory work) is practically nonexistent. It did not meet my expectations in that regard since I expected an emphasis on practical application. The equipment is outdated and the location of the laboratories is a 15 minute walk from the faculty, in a different building.
I very much liked the professors and their desire to transmit knowledge, the academic staff is of high quality with people working closely in Electrical Engineering for years.
I would recommend this faculty to people that want a strong basis of theoretical knowledge but don’t expect a lot of practical application.
