Clinical practice gives me the opportunity to communicate in real life and provide therapy to a wide variety of populations (pediatric, adult, geriatric) with a wide range of disorders (autism, apraxia, aphasia, fluidity, etc.). The workload is high, but very satisfying. I have the opportunity to apply what I have learned in class in my therapy lesson plans for clients. My clinical professors and supervisors are highly experienced professionals who provide great support to all students within the program. Their experience in speech therapy is critical to providing the highest quality education.
