Fordham University is an amazing university that offers a wide variety of majors, minors, extra-curricular activities, clubs, sports, and more. The staff and students are incredibly kind, fun, and caring. Most professor genuinely care about their students learning and succeeding. I would recommend Fordham University to anyone, it’s an amazing school!
View moreFordham University is a very good school, with amazing professors. There are many different opportunities offered to students, however, not enough outreach from the University to individual students. I would have rated my experience differently had Fordham eased Freshmen students into the University life by selecting adequate advisors. That being said, as a commuter, I feel like one thing that Fordham did very well is create a space for individuals who didn’t dorm to hang out and meet one another. There is an active student club life, which created an engaging environment.
View moreAs a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Visual Arts, I thoroughly enjoyed the curriculum provided by Fordham University. Fordham University is a Jesuit establishment, with three campuses across New York (Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan, Rosehill campus in the Bronx, Westchester— graduate campus). Majority of my undergraduate career was spent at the Lincoln Center campus located in the heart of Manhattan. It should be noted that the campus located in the Bronx has a more traditional campus setting, as opposed to the Lincoln Center location, where majority of students commute to campus. The primary tenet of Fordham University, Cura Personalis, implies that Fordham educates the whole person, and it does so in providing the students with a mandatory core curriculum. Though some of the courses did not apply to my major or minor, they helped me evolve as a student. The professors at Fordham University are exceptional, providing a cohesive and interesting curriculum for the duration of the semester. The professors within my programme were not only amazing, they were well connected within their respective fields, providing opportunities for students outside of the classroom. The student life at Fordham University is rich with numerous clubs and activities provided on campus and off campus. Among these clubs are debate teams, the Muslim Student Association, STOVES comedy club, and more. I would certainly recommend Fordham University to others. The school has a large population of international students, resulting in exposure to other cultures. As a current graduate student at Fordham University, I feel very confident in my career prospects in the future. Fordham University provides career services to currently enrolled students and alumni. I highly recommend Fordham University for your educational experience!
