Cornell University is a diverse university with a range of opportunities and activities for career advancement, networking, social activities, and events. Its wide range of majors and concentrations allow its students to study niche topics that wouldn’t be found on other campuses. Its huge campus is stunning and its classrooms are top-tier. Student life depends on your major and the amount of work you put into it. Architecture and engineering majors are the toughest. Moreover, the university encourages student employment in all of its forms. Working at the Statler hotel has allowed me to gain real-world experience and the staff have been very accommodating to school work. Furthermore, the Dyson school has been one of the best experiences of my academic life. The staff, including student advisors, career advisors, the professors, and the teaching assistants, all have a passion for business and for the Dyson culture. Classes are hard to an extent. However, for Dyson, clubs are most important for the recruiting process. Overall, Cornell is a great university for people who like study and have niche communities in a isolated town.
