The University of Chicago offers a huge selection of majors, and it’s incredibly convenient that you may schedule classes online. As we are affiliated with the medical school and a large portion of our student body is pre-med, some majors (the hard sciences) have higher and harder workloads than others, which is understandable.

In my opinion, it’s a perfect place to decide what my course should be and what I want to do with my life. Both the professors and the students are typically well-informed and interesting. This school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities. The only difficulty is choosing your own path. I’m appreciative of the experience I am having here.
View moreMy professors smoothly transitioned their classes to a distance-learning format despite the unexpected shift to online education, employing recorded lectures and Zoom breakout rooms to speed up learning. By far the most important component was that instructors and staff were all aware that, for many of us, school was the furthest thing from our minds given everything else going on in our communities and the rest of the world. My instructors in the biology, art history, and spanish departments were all incredibly nice and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that students were succeeding outside of the classroom.

You won’t be able to find a major at another university that you don’t like if you can’t find them at Cornell. The experience is absolutely universal; The campus, the food, the connections, and most importantly the people are all excellent.
