Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
Staffordshire University stands out as an excellent choice for students aspiring to pursue a legal education. The institution goes beyond traditional classroom learning, offering students valuable real-world experiences in the field of law. Moreover, it actively fosters the development of interpersonal skills through a variety of extracurricular activities. The curriculum is carefully designed to guide students in navigating a professional environment, ensuring they feel at ease rather than out of place. At Staffordshire, students not only gain legal knowledge but also cultivate a mindset and behavior that align with the professional expectations of a lawyer.

However, Staffordshire University is often overlooked. The University provides great accommodation for international students and Uk students alike. The staff are really good and they provide advice whenever you need it, you shouldn’t hesitate to ask at all because they are a bunch of friendly people who even studied at the University themselves. The lectures provided are brilliant. They are very immersive and if you really want to focus and to get the best out of the course. The style of teaching can vary and most lecturers will try to find a way to make you feel more comfortable. Ever since COVID-19 made an impact, Staffordshire University switched most of their classes online, but now that you can be on campus once again, the lectures are a mixture of both online and on campus. Some people may not like the online lessons taught at the moment but I can assure you that the online lessons at Staffordshire University are nothing short of incredible. Lecturers use either Blackboard or Teams to hold lectures and they are able to maintain a great standard of teaching whilst having access to a limited amount of assets. There are also societies which you can join, for example, myself, I am in the law society and they just provide extra help and support whilst you’re completing your studies. You can advance your knowledge all whilst having fun. If you’re still not sure about the University, there are peers that can help you and mentoring set in place for students that don’t feel comfortable with or can’t get a grasp of University life in their first few weeks. Overall I would recommend researching this University and applying. It’s a great chance to meet lovely people, to gain knowledge and to explore a new place which you may not have even known existed. It’s a nice experience and it will benefit everyone that goes through it.
