I made a lot of assumptions about this University, before even looking at the syllabus, or attending a class. One of them was how easy this class would be; I figured it would be an easy A. In this I was wrong, the classes was not at all as easy as I had expected. I had to work significantly harder than I planned. There were many more projects and assignments that I had not accounted for. Even though I had expected the classes to be easier, I was able to quickly adjust.
I enjoyed the classes, even though it require significantly more effort than I had expected. The classroom was a very comfortable environment. I felt respected, and that I could be open about my thoughts with the people in the class. Most of the people were really nice, and I enjoyed meeting them. They reciprocated the same respect and openness as I did, and I really appreciated that. I also found that many people in this class are really interesting and cool people.
I am currently studying Business with International Business Management at John Moores, and it has been nothing but a great experience for me. From how supportive the teachers are, to the amazing university life and experiences, I am currently in my second year, going into my third, and I was able to secure a study abroad semester in the Netherlands, for which the coordinators were very helpful and always there when I needed them. Overall, I have really enjoyed LJMU. The only bad part is the fact that I will be leaving next year.
View moreI have really enjoyed my time at Liverpool John Moores, not only because of how amazing the people are, but also how beautiful the city and its buildings are. LJMU has one of the best business programs and some of the most supportive teachers, which has really made the experience during this period of uncertainty a lot better. I am currently in my second year of studying and the university was able to provide me with the opportunity to study abroad for the second semester, which is where I am now and I am very much enjoying seeing a new country and culture.
View moreI’m currently studying here and I regret it so much. I remember going to an open day and being promised that I’d have a portfolio at the end of the course. Not only do I not have that, they changed the course without any written warning or notification to the students.
Definitely did not get what I signed up to or even PAID for.
