Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
I have been pursuing my master’s degree after four years of undergraduate studies. The staffs are good and caring people also help to ease understanding of the complicated study materials. The campus is quite fascinating with new structures continually being constructed, and refurbishing the old ones to make them more environmentally friendly and comfortable for learning.
View moreThe University of Bournemouth greatest university overall because it has the best resources, an ideal environment for learning, and outstanding professors. I must say that I urge students to enroll at Bournemouth University.
View moreBU is one of the schools in the United Kingdom to have some of the best location pickings and I’m elated to be a student here.
The environment around campus is clean and my school was voted among the top 7% of universities during The Impact Rankings last year.
I’d highly recommend BU not just for the environment, but for state-of-the-art learning experience.
View moreThe University of Bournemouth is a fantastic institution where you may become engaged in anything you desire. The teachers are kind and happy to interact with you when they can, making for a pleasant educational experience. Great studying atmosphere because there are various on-campus spaces where you can unwind or work.
View moreMy degree has really enhanced my writing skills due to the amount of reading and researching the degree requires us to do, which I find to be very beneficial when it comes to working in media after university; all types of media are mentioned in this degree and it really opens the door to many career paths. The students are given a lot of online resource to help us complete essays and assignments, and the seminars allow students to have one on one sessions for when specific help is needed. However, the lectures could be more engaging, such as creating more activities for students. The overall university life at Bournemouth has been fun due to the amount of clubs and social spaces there are, making the social life very exciting. I’m enjoying university so far!
View moreMy experience at BU was really good. The classes were really practical and we had a lot of homework. Each week you are assigned a new task and you need to work hard to achieve the best look. Teachers always talk about how important photorealism is in VFX, the viewer must believe what they see. It is a really interesting course although BU could have handled better the shift to online education.
The campus is really good, you will be able to book the best equipment to shoot the footage. There is always somebody in reception to help and My Careers Hub works really good. They have different job offers for students and for graduates. In fact, you have access to it up to three years after finishing the course. Nice course, nice teachers, nice campus, it was up to my expectations!
View moreIn general, I think the professors in BU are professional, they have the most patient with the student and they will try their best to solve the problems. Also, the accommodations are nice, the facilities and the environment are very suitable for students to study.
View moreOverall the programme is quite focused on the main subject of your studies but there are also some irrelevant subjects which can lead to feeling unpleasant.
Despite that, I think the teachers are greatly experienced, kind and willing to teach you as much as possible. I have learnt a lot in only one year.
They are very helpful and the program is in high technology moreover the best group of instructors that did lead us in our project to make them in a professional way to let us understand what the industry wants.
View moreDigital effects is a very intense programe. As a master program you are meant to have some 3D background. However, it is not needed in order to join the course. You will be mainly working with two programs Houdini and Nuke.
There is also a lot of self-taught. Teachers are going to be helping you if needed but there is a lot of work that needs to be done on your own. Classes are mostly practical, but there is some theory too. This theory is focused to explain important information that can sometimes be applied to the work.
The faculty is big and there is a lot of atmosphere. There will always be somebody there to help when needed.
