This university seems to be very well-organized, personally invested in their students and trying to be a competitive one as well. However, as there are many things that this university has just been doing for a few years, it becomes clear that there is a lot of improvement that can be made. There seems to be an information asymmetry between the professors and the students and therefore it comes across during lectures as if the students are not prepared enough or as if the professors are working their way through the learning materials at lightning speed. Communication here is key. Next to that, BSM is private and UPF is public. The facilities this university (UPF) has are somewhat outdated and that is noticeable for BSM students as well. Moving the classes for instance to the Balmes building, which is modern and BSM’s, would be a wise move.
