My opinion about this university is that it’s neglect students like me who comes from disadvantage background in terms of financial support to pay for the registrations and tuitions fees. Yes, I do recommend this university because it does provide intelligence graduates with excellent research skills.
View moreThey should work on their administration and staff, sometimes the communication is just not right. Just getting these guys to respond to your emails is a mission and a half. I sent about 3 emails to them and they have never bothered to respond.
View moreThere is adequate support from the university of KwaZulu-Natal. The student support at school caters for our needs from our mental health there is student counselling and academic support is also of a high standard.
View moreThey take care of their students, especially the first year. The environment is just so clean including the school residence. I love how active the staff members are. When you report broken items they fix them ASAP.

View moreI applied online and they sent me an email saying I must call the RPL Department within 14 days for them to process this application, so I tried calling and the phone doesn’t even ring, I then decide to send an email and no one will respond when you call admission they take their time to answer your phone. After they have finally answered the phone they tell you RPL works from home but my question is why aren’t they responding to emails if they don’t have access to phones at home?
I even got an email but she also doesn’t respond. When you go to the main campus they also say they can’t help you and even if they can help you they want you to pay for them.

View moreApplication for courses in 2022 was submitted timeously in 2021. 7 months down the line we were informed the course is full, and we don’t comply with the minimum standards, which we do. Nobody answers the phone at their student centre, and no e-mail gets responded
View moreUniversity of KwaZulu-Natal student finance, doesn’t respond to emails, and their phone lines are all “not available” when you phone them. The admin is horrible I don’t want to lie and the institution is expensive.
