The education and individual attention was very effective and made an immense difference. Varsity College excels in its academics, however, the administrative staff are pathetically disgusting.
I had almost been in a situation of being pushed back an entire year of my degree due to a lazy incompetent and lifeless staff member in student services who could not assist me with a technical error on the varsity’s behalf until I had to unfortunately call my parents in and magically it was sorted out in a matter of 2 minutes. Furthermore, it is almost close to impossible to liaise with anyone over the phone at varsity college, they will not be bothered until you physically have to go on to the premises.
Varsity College is in my view a good university to step into studies for the first time. You are dispatched in classes of 25-30 students where it is easy for a student to ask questions and explain his arguments. The education level is decent and the degree I did was very challenging. Varsity is very accessible even if English is not your first language.
View moreVarsity College is a private South African institution that offers various programmes, degrees, and diplomas. They provide studies into many different fields such as art, law, education, and management. Varsity College currently holds a stability advantage compared to public institutions that have been a little bit disturbed the last years due to several protests and degradation of premises.
I really encouraged people who want to pursue commerce/management studies to register themselves at Varsity. It will be even more helpful to the non-english speaking student to improve their language skills in restricted classes of 20-30 students. Finally, thanks to the partnership with the IIE, students from Varsity College, that are graduated with BCom studies, will have the opportunity to apply for a postgraduate in every UK universities that are affiliated to Open University UK.
