My experience at Quaid-i-Azam University was truly remarkable. Being a part of the School of Politics and International Relations, a pioneer institute in Pakistan for politics and IR studies, was an honour. The distinguished faculty members were knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about their subjects, which created an engaging learning environment. I learned a great deal from their expertise and guidance. The comprehensive curriculum provided a strong foundation in political science and international relations. The university offered various opportunities for intellectual growth, including seminars, conferences, and guest lectures by renowned scholars and practitioners. Overall, my time at Quaid-i-Azam University was an enriching journey that equipped me with valuable knowledge and skills for my professional pursuits in the field of politics and international relations.

The scenery is very good. The education system is solid and the best.The place is too old and too far from Islamabad you need your own transportation. I think it’s a good place to spend time with family and friends. However, due to the old structure of the building, renovation of the building is required.

The university overall is an amazing place to interact and enhance ones social skills. The best part is the group discussions that they conduct. Overall the location of the university really enhances its status. Also, thre research guidance is amazing.
The university lacks facilities like WIFI, computers, LCDs, projectors, ACs etc. The teachers are sometimes not up to standards. Theres a need of roads and other infrastructure

Quaid-i-Azam University, divided into four faculties and nine affiliated research institutes, is a public sector university, located in Islamabad, Pakistan. While there is a plethora of reviews about the university on the internet, this review intends to highlight its real beauty (from the perspective of a student/an on-campus resident). When comes the time for a student to plunge into university life, what’s imperative is that they fully take themselves out of the previous equation they’ve been in (their hometown) and fully indulge and immerse themselves in what their university of choice has to offer. Quaid-i-Azam University, with about a dozen hostels, is especially known for its on campus life; as it exposes students of the university to a multitude of cultures (from all over the country) and nationalities outside of the classroom.
The evenings bring the university to life as the entire student population is found at the University’s “huts” (cafes, if you will), despite the hostels having their own dining arrangements. The huts are not only places to eat but are places where the most intense discussions have been held, for instance those of foreign policy and its like.
The university pleasantly experiences the best of all seasons, the best being winter. The reason behind that is the fact that students of Quaid-i-Azam are known to come together in the evenings and hold bonfires for their own circles; groups upon groups gather around self-set-up-fire, sing their favorite tunes and reminisce of their time.
All in all, the university fully embraces its students and the students do the same. It is a beautiful experience, having to call this place home. This is also why even alumni, working in notable positions worldwide, are often found at the aforementioned huts.
