It is a polytechnic located in Bori, Rivers State, Nigeria. Formerly known as Rivers State Polytechnic, it was renamed in honor of Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa, a Nigerian environmental activist and writer.

The polytechnic offers a variety of academic programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in fields such as engineering, sciences, environmental technology, business administration, and computer science. It is dedicated to providing technical and vocational education and training to equip students with the skills needed for employment and entrepreneurship.
