Stepping into Obafemi Awolowo University for the very first time felt like stepping back in time to the colonial era in Nigeria. The buildings convey a bygone era, and as time went on, I came to understand that the system as a whole was trapped in the past rather than just the individual buildings. The teaching methods, the curriculum, and the decision-making process are all outdated and have refused to evolve with the world.
The campus is very beautiful but lacks maintenance, and the classrooms are ill-equipped to cater for the number of students.
The best part of my experience was meeting great people from different parts of the country, and I found joy in participating in the extracurricular activities in the faculty of law.
Generally, I would refrain from recommending this institution to anyone except those who are well aware of the facts and are willing to overlook the shortfalls.

It was an amazing learning environment with great minds across the departments and faculties. The dedication and commitment shown by the staffs are unmatched.

And it is a school with one of the highest employability percents in the country
