View moreDuring my study at the Technical University of Mombasa first I would like to say that the social life of Mombasa is more welcoming and the people/students in Mombasa are kind and loving, I learnt that they are more friendly and caring more than in other cities in Kenya.
One thing I have come to learn is that it’s a bit slow compared to other places around Kenya, but still, things keep moving. There are different religions the Muslims and Christians in the majority but they live very peacefully.
Just a few things to work on and improve is the sports sector, which on the other hand I felt like the hot weather of the coastal makes people there not have the energy to participate in sports more due to high dehydration.
Security-wise it’s maximum the university is closer to the Mombasa city and the Indian Ocean, 10 mins drive to the famous FORT JESUS in the old town and the MAMA NGINA drive where you get to see ships docking at the MOMBASA PORT
