I loved the small university culture vibe provided for the students, and the dedication of the lecturers to teaching.
I love the weather In Kakamega.
I didn’t like the use of paper for records and would advise for them to do the digital way.
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology is a very nice place to study in Kenya. I joined in the year 2020 and I don’t regret furthering my studies there. The admission was done online since the disease was present. When we reported to school physically, admission was now simpler. I love how my school ease things for us.
The school has many likes as compared to dislikes which are amazing.
The likes include:
The school ensures first years are not treated badly by the continuing students or lecturers.
All the lectures are attended by the lecturers and even more, classes are asked for by the lecturers.
Students are allowed to showcase their talents.
University hostels are in good condition and repairs are usually done when damaged.
Guidance and counselling are offered to the students when necessary.
Students who can pay school fees are offered a work-study to be able to pay fees which is good for them.
Educational trips are also offered mostly for practical courses.
The dislikes include:
Few lectures fail to meet universities’ expectations.
Finances are sometimes a problem.
I would like to recommend the following;
Projects should be looked for to produce finance for the institution.
