The university has a huge amount of courses that are pretty irrelevant to the actual subject. I believe that at least fifteen courses could be completely excluded. University’s secretary can be really insulting and frustrating sometimes and even though it may sound insignificant it really is a problem. I believe that it should be easier for students that live very far from Uni to watch the lectures and they should be recorded so that you can rewatch them as many times as you can. One more thing that I’d like to mention is that most professors don’t really care, they want to just ” do their job ” and go home, there are a few of them that really care for us and want us to understand. Lastly, there are some auditoriums that are really poorly made and you can’t read what’s written on the board or what the projector shows. Apart from all that if you want to really train your mind and soul (sometimes even body because the distances in there can be challenging sometimes depending on how heavy your backpack is) this university is a very good choice. If you can make it through that you could definitely handle a lot of different situations in society. You would also be really well trained in the subject you’ve chosen even though as I said before the courses are more than needed. You’ll be forced to study hard on your own and really earn your degree. I’d suggest it as it truly is the best university for engineers are at least that’s how it’s being treated by society and the market. Most companies would prefer someone from NTUA to any other university out there and for naval architecture and Marine engineering it’s the only university there is, this subject is exclusively taught in our university, at least if you want to study it in Greece.

The most significant part of my programme is the passion about learning new fields of science. The working stuff of this campus are really focused in science and research. I recommend this campus to any student who his real purpose is to explore new fields of science.
