Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.

The infrastructure is nothing like a law school in a European capital. Teachers are advanced and often arbitrary. The connection with the labor market of the graduates is achieved only with the personal effort of the student. On the positive side the free character of the study and the high academic level.
View moreThe facilities of my university are very good and it’s a modern and new university. The teachers are well-educated but they dont have a good communication with the university students.Although they are understandable. The university is clean and the people that work here are always willing to help you
View moreThe facilities of the university are really good and new. The teachers are well-educated but some of them keep a distance from you as a university student. University students are polite and the teachers are willing to help you with the academic work that you have but help you also develop your character.
View moreThe National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers high-quality studies. Along with inspiring and devoted professors, you have the chance to widen your horizons and acquire solid knowledge on law matters.
View moreI study at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the beginning, to be honest, i wasn’t sure about my choise. Finally and despite the fact that only nine months have passed since the beginning i have to say that i am very to glad to be part of this University. The facilities, the professors, the object of the studies and the prospects that offers this University are the main reasons why i feel fulfilled for choosing this University.
View moreIt is well organized and the educators are willing to assist you any time. I would strongly recommend it since it is a public university but provides students with a lot of experiences abroad. Therefore it creates a good system of communication at international terms
View moreThis is a campus that contains many schools such as Law, Mathematics, etc. The quality of the studies is truly high and that’s why we are at the top of the rankings globally and we have many recognitions. The teachers are experienced and real professionals but some of them are old and can’t catch up with the technology that is provided such as projectors, laptops, and other ways of alternative studies. As far as the facilities are concerned, they are a bit old because UoA is one of the first universities in Greece and it’s public so the maintenance of the clean areas is challenging. I would definitely recommend it for Erasmus exchange because our teachers are truly aware of the English language and other important stuff.
