I was told that college would be the best few years of your life. It ended up not being that. Algonquin College milks you for every single penny they can get out of you. The school goes into Coronavirus lockdown and makes all classes online. They still charge you for gym fees and bus passes. On top of that, I graduated with honours but couldn’t tell you a single thing I learned. Don’t feel prepared for the working world at all. Who knows, maybe it’s not just Algonquin College and all post-secondary schools are like this. The only positive is the friendships I made with the people who went there.
