Passable, but not exceptional

I have started at this university just this year, and I still have a long way to go, but as an overview, it’s not the best.
First of all, I study in the Somosaguas campus, which is a half-hour away from Madrid center. The installations are really old, in my classroom, I have the luck to sit on comfortable chairs, but for the rest of the faculty, it’s just wooden chairs set in rows. We have a blackboard, a whiteboard, and an electric board, but we rarely use any of them except for powerpoints. Winter is coming and it’s very cold since there is no heater. I suppose we will be very hot in winter since there isn’t air conditioning either… Regarding the teachers, they are not too good. I have one teacher who is interested in us and gives us attention/answers our doubts when in need. But for the rest, they just read their powerpoints and have no interest in making sure we pass their subject. I would much prefer another teaching method, where students are much more involved and we understand what we have to learn rather than know it by heart and just spill it out in the exam.
I will see how this year goes, but I hope it does get better.
