Although I have graduated 10 years after my undergraduate and postgraduate (MBA) degree, I keep having the same point of view. It is a very decent university for the Greek standards. Good logistics infrastructure, nice and clean buildings, organized school secretariats. These may be considered obvious in Europe but not in Greece. In UOM, anyone who wants to study will be able to do it without worrying about occupations, lack of halls, etc. Clearly, there are well-known political groups, but in general they have never influenced – in my days – the proper functioning of the school.
In the academic track now, I think it moves to a good level as well. Of course, you will find teachers who do not offer something special, but you will find others who seem to have somewhat more of the subject. For someone interested in financial schools and wanting to have a normal flow in his studies, I think that is an excellent overall choice for Greece.
