I do like my program so much, since it gives me the possibility to develop my own personal skills while building a strong professional cv with plenty of extracurricular material. The amenities are extraordinary and the campus is super professional and convenient for networking!
IE University attempts to market itself as a groundbreaking institution, a place where education is reimagined and reinvented. However, my experience as a first-year BBA student there has painted a wholly different picture – one of academic deception, low standards, and a hollow educational experience. IE University, in its pursuit of 'innovation', allows all examinations to be conducted on laptops, often allowing open-book tests. While this approach might be hailed as forward-thinking, it's turned the institution into an open playground for academic dishonesty. With most students resorting to dubious means such as group chats on WhatsApp, using AI chatbots like ChatGPT, and even deploying software to bypass browser restrictions, the academic integrity of IE University is in dire straits. Even worse, some students outsource their tests to external parties. This isn't just an issue amongst a small group of rogue students; the malpractice has permeated across all levels and departments of the university, putting a question mark over the credibility of its degrees. Despite spending a fortune on promotional campaigns to brand itself as a revolutionary educational institution, the reality is quite the opposite. The academic rigor is ridiculously low, and students are not adequately challenged. The workload is remarkably light compared to other institutions, and the learning curve is far from steep. An ex-professor even confessed to me about being explicitly instructed to make his courses less demanding than those at other universities. This deliberate dilution of academic standards raises concerns about the skills and knowledge that students will carry into their careers post-graduation. The culture and environment fostered by the aforementioned problems have created an uninspiring and unsatisfying place for individuals who value genuine learning. Students seeking intellectual growth and academic rigor will find themselves disheartened in an environment where cheating is rampant and coursework is unchallenging. The spirit of competition, the thrill of overcoming intellectual challenges, the quest for knowledge, and the joy of collaborative learning are all absent in this setting. This results in an environment that not only lacks authenticity but also fails to prepare students for the competitive and demanding professional world. In light of these glaring issues, prospective students must reconsider their decision to attend IE University. As an educational institution, it falls short on multiple fronts. Until IE University addresses these problems, it will remain a diploma mill, offering degrees of questionable value, as long as you pay.
Madrid Is incredible, I've had a fantastic time at IE University. I've had some excellent lecturers overall. They sincerely want the students to flourish and are concerned about developing a personal relationship with them. Having said that, students typically must fulfil their half of the contract by putting in the necessary work and demonstrating a desire to achieve success.
As a current student at IU International University of Applied Sciences, I am thoroughly impressed with the university's commitment to practical learning and global perspectives, creating a robust blueprint for success. The emphasis on hands-on experience has significantly enhanced my problem-solving skills, while the diverse international community has broadened my worldview. The supportive faculty, though limited extracurricular activities, fosters an enriching academic environment. IU's comprehensive career services stand out, ensuring students are well-prepared for the professional world. While communication between departments could be improved, I wholeheartedly recommend IU for its dedication to real-world preparation and the transformative educational experience it provides.
I would like to express my serious concerns regarding my experiences at IU International University. I firmly believe that the university has violated my rights and bears legal responsibility for the following incidents: Insufficient processing of my sabbatical semester request: Due to financial constraints, I paused my studies from July to December 2022 and was forced to apply for unemployment benefits. Since these benefits are not provided to students, I requested a sabbatical semester, which was initially approved. However, my subsequent request for the year 2023 was not approved in January as requested, due to a late submission. Typically, such requests are approved at the earliest possible opportunity, unless there are compelling reasons to deny them. In my case, there were no such reasons. Technical error and failure to provide services: During a sabbatical semester, access to university services such as the dashboard and MyCampus is restricted, and the student's payment obligations are suspended. However, I encountered a technical error that made it impossible for me to access the dashboard. Assuming that my sabbatical semester had been approved at the earliest possible opportunity, as is usually the case, I only realized the error three to four months later when I received invoices and reminders from the university. It is important to note that this technical error was on the university's side, and the failure to provide services was a direct consequence of it. Unclear responsibilities and lack of accountability: The university seems to lack clear structures and procedures for adequately addressing errors and complaints. I have found that responsibilities within the university are unclear, and there are no clear points of contact. Despite repeatedly describing my situation through phone calls and written communication, and being assured that a swift change to my study schedule would be made to accommodate my work as a working student, I was subjected to another expulsion without warning or prior notice, even though I had already terminated my studies in Business Administration. This is outrageous. The IU was aware of my situation for several weeks, and never was there any mention of also expelling me from my Data Science program. The first level support is not allowed to give names of responsible persons. All you can do is to wait. If I were the person, setting up a successfully working customer support I would be proud to be known by my name for that. That in the case of the IU nobody wants to be responsible at a higher level is a clear sign of something that is not quite good. I want to emphasize that I will utilize every available channel to bring attention to my concerns and motivate IU International University to take action. I will exercise my rights and seek legal assistance to ensure that my concerns are adequately addressed. It is regrettable that this escalation has become necessary, but I feel compelled to protect my rights and stand up for a fair resolution. While I am open to being proven wrong regarding the positive reviews that IU has received, I expect IU International University to take responsibility and implement what they teach: good processes, a corporate culture, and customer orientation that align with the current state of time and science. This situation has been a nightmare for me. I expect IU International University to take responsibility for these incidents and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation. I am willing to protect my rights and take all available legal steps to find a satisfactory solution. Please be aware that I am writing this review as an expression of my dissatisfaction and determination. My goal is to highlight the urgent need for a resolution and ensure that my concerns are taken seriously.
IU University of Applied Sciences is a groundbreaking institution offering flexible, high-quality education both online and offline. Embracing technology and innovation, IU provides students with a forward-looking and enriching learning experience, preparing them for a successful future.
EU Business School provides flexible and high-quality education, with a wide range of programs available to study. The school also provides students with assistance regarding their employment after graduation. The programs are available offline, however, there is also an opportunity to study on the Digital Campus, which provides the students with the same quality of education, but with more flexibility and comfort. The classrooms are diverse, interactive and engaging, giving the students a possibility to make connections with people from all over the world, share their experiences with each other, and create a global community. My experience with EU Business School so far was enriching and engaging. The classes are interactive and allow students to practice what they have learned right away, and the assignments improve understanding of the curriculum and deepen the knowledge of the subject. The professors are specialists in their fields and are ready to answer any questions that the students may have.
it's not worth the fees. the courses are bad and the staff is not helpful. if you have issues, they play blame games. the lawyer provided is not very attentive. the visa does not allow you to look for jobs post your education. attendance is given more importance than quality education.
The professors I have had in the last semester were of great help, they are always open to questions and put the extra effort of solving doubts. Open to interaction and new ideas with the scope of implementing them in real life!
